Hi, I’m Heath Tredell and this is my VERY makeshift Family web site. The Tredell name comes from Cornwall and we are a very small close-knit family who pride ourselves on our successes and family ties. This site started out as little more than an advertisement for my book... (check it out by the way..) now I have decided to expand it some more and include the rest of my family and a little more information about us. I grew up in Eastern Green in Coventry and lived there until I was 15. A was a rat when I was young. Smoking, lighting fires, pinching sweets from the shops, I was not the best of sons by a long shot. But, as time went on I stopped smoking (you couldn’t buy them singularly any more) and I learned the hard way not to try and scrump a cabbage and pass it off as one I’d bought from the shop with the money my mum had given me. My best mates were Paul Lander and Craig English, two people I’ve sadly since lost touch with. At senior school I messed around a lot (read about Kyle.. Like father like son) and I cycled a lot. I managed to get onto (albeit very briefly) onto the GB squad for Road Racing and come 6th in the National Championships. My best friends were Dean Smith and Paul Moss. Paul and I are still in touch, he still cycles a lot and looks a whole bunch fitter than me because of it. Finishing school I worked for Peugeot, Rover and then became a Care Manager at the family care home. Since then the business has grown and I’m kinda in charge. I got married to Sam, had three kids and decided to be very silly and try and revisit my youth. This little melee led to a bad argument but amicable divorce and I now share the care of our kids with Sam. We still get on very well but we have both moved on. I’m now very happily living with Pook. Well actually her name isn’t Pook its Waleerat Supapongyatayakul.. But to me she’s Pook... The love of my life. Pook is a property investor and also owns some tanning shops.. Ironic really as she can’t stand tans herself, something apparently common with Thai people. I have partly learned to fly (god I MUST finish that!) taught scuba diving at Warwick University and got my honours degree whilst working full time… oh AND most importantly brought up three of the most wonderful children a man could have… all whilst badly playing football and making a mockery of a squash court. In my spare time when I’m not Zapcat racing or contemplating learning to sail (a life’s ambition) I’m trying to write a further novel or two. This is me, Heath. Welcome to my family, my life, my work.
